 Dante is a regular Duo Maxwell, fun-loving and completely insane, driving poor Calligohn buggy whenever he can. He's the kind of guy that never wants to grow up, and shows it by wearing denim jeans and red t-shirts with dragons imprinted on them. This is pretty much a symbol of his rebellion against all the serious-type people in "Cynical Pink"

 

 Dante was orphaned at the age of 10, his parents unknown to him since they would always travel overseas and away from him. Staying in the orphanage was the best time of his life, only because he had kids to talk to. There he met Hijirou, a Chinese boy refuged from Beijing. They became the best of friends, Hijirou was remarkably intelligent and already knew the fine moves of chess at a young age of 11. But Dante's sadness soon caught up to him as a family intended to take Hijirou away from the orphanage. On July 4th, Hijirou was taken away to live in Denmark, never to see Dante again. Dante grew furious, demanding for his little buddy's return; sadly to no avail. He soon ran away from the orphanage and into the Stonewell Church. There he met an interestingly quiet child by the name of Holden, who was slowly suffering from chronic illnesses. He soon became friends with Holden, playing with him in the courtyards and helping with church duties. There he found happiness again, but had to leave because he needed to find himself, as he said to Holden before leaving.

 

It's true that Dante had released Descartes, after idiotically venturing around the Tomon Labs. There he met Descartes, and revived him from his cold sleep. Upon his awakening, Descartes pulled the cross dangling from Dante's neck. Drawing a strange aura into the gold cross, he plunged it into his cheek and this is supposedly how Dante got the cross-shaped mark on his cheek.

 

 Dante's weapon techniques are of his own creations, from a sword blade in his arms to a gun hidden in his belt buckle. He once was taught under a chinese shisho with Jigen-Ryuu, but he never used the wakazashis Calligohn would loan him. Dante's quick-witted, and not to mention quick-mouthed when it comes to jokes and annoying his white-haired friend. Dante may well be the only character Calligohn may have to live through in "Cynical Pink", until he can get him to move out of his house ^_^;;
